I am working as a Research Scientist at Language Technologies Research Centre, IIIT, Hyderabad, India. I had finished my B.E. in Mech. Engg. in 1990 and recently finished my PhD in Computational Linguistics. I did a lot of different things in the period between finishing the first degree and starting the second.

I have worked on several problems in NLP/CL and have published some papers. I have also been developing a system called Sanchay, which is a collection of tools and APIs for language processing. More information is given on my home page.

I have also developed a language called Sanchay Corpus Query Language (renamed Sandhaan) that allows data access as well as manipulated for annotated corpora (structured data), in the same way as SQL does for RDBMS. An implementation of this language is integrated with Sanchay.
