My name is Florence Kengoma,a Masters of Arts in Linguistics student at Makerere University Kampala Uganda.I am a teacher of English Language and English Literature and I tutor at Kyambogo University in the Languages and Communication Department. Language and Linguistics are areas I find fascinating so I want to learn all that I can about them. I find phonetics,phonology and syntax particularly interesting.

I speak Rukiga,Runyankore,Runyoro,Rutooro,Luganda.My first language is Rukiga and I have a dream of doing a comperative study of the Rukiga and Lusoga phonotactic systems. I also want to use a corpus based approach to examine Ugandan English as an emerging variety of English.
