Error messages

Below is a list of the types of errors for which the system currently offers error messages. Each type is represented by one message, an example of a string that would cause the message, and a link to a page where the phenomenon in question is briefly explained.

Case of personal pronouns

Error example:

          “Du liker jeg.”

Error message for this string:

          The word "jeg" is marked with the wrong case, try using "meg" instead.

Form of the infinitival marker

Error example: “Jeg prøver og komme.” Error message for this string:

           The word "og" is not the infinitival marker, try using "å" instead.

Form of the coordinating conjunction

Error example:

          “Ola å Per kommer."

Error message for this string:

          The word "å" is not a conjunction, try using "og" instead.
