MY name is Georgina Afeafa Sapaty.I come from Ghana, one of the vibrant, fast growing and peaceful countries in the West African sub-region of Africa. I hail from Gbledi Gborgame in one of the ten regions of the country called the Volta Region. This region is home to the predominant Ewe language that I speak.
I am the first born of my parents in a large family of ten, six(6) girls and four boys(4).
I have served as a language teacher in several educational institutions at different levels of the educational ladder, viz; secondary, vocational and commercial schools, Colleges of Education etc. Currently, I am teaching Ewe, my native language, in the Dept of Ewe Education at the University of Education, Winneba. Married with two children,I enjoy, gardening, traveling and listening to music. My research interest is in comparative phonology where I am, at the moment, comparing the phonological structure of two dialects of my native Ewe language.
