Continuous and Progressive Aspect in Runyankore-Rukiga
Revision as of 18:38, 7 November 2011 by Dorothee Beermann (Talk | contribs)
Continuous and Progressive Aspects are two concepts that have not been given fair treatment in existing grammars of Runyankore- Rukiga. Quite often, the two categories have been mixed so that the reader can hardly trace the difference between them. My major objective in this squib is to show the distinction between the two to allow for a more adequate grammatical account.
