Under

Usually, as we see in these examples (free translation in the brackets), the preposition 'under' usually indicates a relationship of inferiority of the located object to the reference object

Under en stein i skogen er og var Tron Øgrims (1947-2007) hemmelige datasted

(' Under a rock in the woods is, and was, Tron Øgrim's (1947-2007) secret computerplace)

Venstre går kraftig tilbake og havner under sperregrensen i en ny meningsmåling

('Venstre is having a major setback, and ends up under the bottom line in a new survey')

However, as we see in the following example, 'under' can also be used as a preposition to place an event within a certain time period

Lokket med kyss under hans bursdagsfeiring.

in some contexts 'under' indicates that some event takes place during another. In Selbygg these two uses are represented by different prepositions, as seen in the examples below:

The preposition "under" signals inferiority and can also signal coincidence. An example could be "en katt ligger under bordet", translated to "a cat lies under the table". The located object is "en katt" and the reference object is "bordet". The located object is placed in the downward space from the underside of the table, without the two being in any contact with each other.
